StoryTime – PhotoShoot WAHALA

Hey, Jewels. It’s Storytime.

Nowhere feels better than the space you’ve created just for yourself. Somewhere for you to express and not impress. I have been away for too many minutes,  but in each of those, I realized how much I was missing.

It was Sunday, the day of this photoshoot. I woke up feeling excited and optimistic about everything. I was so ready to shoot my heart out until I noticed a huge pimple developing on the side of my nose. The really painful kind. I had already mistakenly pressed it before I noticed its presence so, you can just imagine. Let’s put the pimple aside, shall we.

Was the power out 🙁

What was I going to do? I had over 5 looks I wanted to do a shoot on and now no light…okay. This was partly my fault, I should have ironed the day before or something. So in the end, a shoot for my 5 current favorite outfits changed to a shoot for 2. Anyway, 2 is better than none right. So we went location scouting for the perfect spots around. It did not take long till we came across this creepy, looking abandoned wreckage just behind me. Curious me decided to take the first look around. You see the extremely high thingy that looks like a well, guess what, it’s not. It is full of guinea fowl feathers. Do you know how creepy that is…

The feathers must have been accumulated over a very long period. As you must have guessed, the creepy building was my temporary dressing room, so I had to go inside and do what I had to do. You would really not like to know all the things I found inside there, but in the end, justice prevailed and I came out victorious. At this time, all that I thought felt like optimism had been yanked right out of me. The only thing I had to hold me was my love for those shoes. I have no idea where they are from but i’ll check and link it below the picture.

It was an experience I would not at all like to share again to the glory of God. But rest assured I prayed over it and I’m sure a repeat of events has been cancelled from my life.

I’ll see you jewels next time, same place, same time. Before I forget, do you guys read my bible quotes? Please do, it brings good luck and blessings.

Psalm 91:7

“A thousand shall fall on my side, and ten thousand at my right hand; but it shall not come nigh thee”

Shooting is why I don’t have an style posts on my blog yet even though that was the plan. I have tried to shoot some outfits but I’ve never been really satisfied with the results. Shooting is hard, bruh. I love the outfit btw

Oh wow sound like you triumphed in the end, we Thank God. Shooting can be a hustle but I have come to realise that scouting for a shoot location beforehand is helpful.x

So uhh…you saw this weird high hollow full of feathers in front of this Haunted Mansion-esque place and somehow that didn’t influence your choice of a shoot location. Aaaand like that wasn’t enough, it’s inside this place you changed!? Bae, you need to watch more horror movies.
